Spa Treatment Spotlight: Yogurt & Honey Pedicure

The Sueños del Mar Spa at Zoëtry Casa del Mar Los Cabos offers a variety of spa treatments for guests visiting the resort. From massages and hydrating wraps to manicures and pedicures, the Sueños del Mar Spa has it all. 

Today, we’re putting the spotlight on one of our favorite treatments–a Yogurt & Honey Pedicure. 

This delicious treatment begins with an exfoliating phase performed with a “Cosmetic Muesli” that contains natural elements such as banana, apricot seeds and oatmeal that provide nourishing and energizing properties. The second phase of the treatment includes the application of a cosmetic yogurt cream with essential nutrients that helps preserve the skin’s natural protective barrier and moisturize while improving the skin’s tone and texture. The final phase is based on a nourishing melting treatment rich in Honey extract, an exquisite elixir that softens dry and dehydrated skin. This ritual restores vitality and provides a soothing sensation for the feet.

Make at Home Spa Treatment: Pumpkin Facial Mask

Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts feature pumpkins in a variety of our spa treatments. Did you know pumpkins are packed with powerful nutrients that are excellent for your skin?   We’d like to share a make-at-home pumpkin facial mask so ou can experience the benefits of pumpkins at home!

Pumpkins are rich in anti-oxidants, beta carotene, Vitamins C and E, several of the B vitamins and is high in potassium, magnesium, zinc, iron, and copper.  Your skin will feel hydrated and rejuvenated after this at home mask treatment.

Pumpkin Facial Mask

Ingredients:

  • ½ cup pumpkin puree  (use canned pumpkin)
  • 2 tsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 1 tsp. pumpkin seed oil
  • 1 pinch cinnamon
  • 1 pinch nutmeg

Directions:

  • Mix pumpkin puree in a bowl with lemon juice, pumpkin seed oil, cinnamon and nutmeg.
  • Apply mask to clean face and leave for 10-15 minutes for skin to soak in the nutrients.
  • Steam helps to further penetrate and open pores so consider using it while in a warm bath.
  • Wash off with warm water.

Place the left over mask in an airtight container and store in the refrigerator for another use.   This will stay fresh for up to five days in the refrigerator. We hope you enjoy the benefits of this seasonal skin treatment!

Our signature holistic ritual, Zoetry Sueños del Mar, is inspired by the Japanese healing technique, Reiki, to transport you through a journey where your mind, body and spirit become one.  It is inspired by the most powerful elements of nature- earth, wind, water and fire.  This unique treatment takes place at the secluded beach palapa and you will be welcomed with copal, natural incense, followed by a followed by a relaxing massage performed with Damiana oil, desert plan native to the region. Quartz crystals are also used to induce a meditative state.

Another popular ritual we offer is Floral Neuro-Aroma Ritual, a sumptuous massage inspired by the kingdom of Siam and India (Ayurveda). The techniques performed in this floral massage combine oriental wisdom to offer a complete massage from head to toe using the therapist’s expert hands and floral sachets filled with a blend of seeds and flowers that are activated with heat. You will feel a complete sense of well-being and total relaxation after this soothing treatment.
