Blogger Review: Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita

We love to hear about personal guest experiences at Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts.  In a recent blog post, Eat Drink Travel be Happy, a popular travel blogger, shared her vacation at one of our best resorts, Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita.

Here is a quick excerpt from her review:

This was our second trip to Zoetry and certainly will not be our last. We have been to many all-inclusive resorts over the years but Zoë try brings it to a whole new level. From the time you step off the plane the Zoetry experience starts. You are taken to the resort in a private car complete with champagne (included). Once at the resort you are greeted with a warm hello’s and taken right away to your suite for check in. There is no standing in lines waiting your turn. The 1 bedroom suites are very large with 2 rooms, the bedroom with a balcony and a living room with a large terrace both with ocean views. This is one of the many reason we love it here, every room has an ocean view. I love waking up, lying in bed looking out at the ocean.

The resort itself is very beautiful, with gardens, ponds, and trees surrounding the paths and common ground. Where other places play music around the pool here you listen to the sound of the ocean, the wind in the palm trees, and the Macaw’s.

A Recent Review of Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana

Does the cooler weather have you thinking about planning at trip to Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts? If so, this review of Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana posted by Trip Advisor user, mpvol, will make you want to book your stay today!

Exceeded expectations!

Just got back, and we did not want to leave the resort! I think the reviews speak for themselves about this place, but I can not stress enough how wonderful the staff is at this resort. During our stay we noticed a lot of couples on their honeymoon. This place is perfect for couples who want to relax and rest. If you are looking for a “party scene” then head straight to Hard Rock.

The food was excellent, and we loved all three restaurants. The pool was massive and clean, but we mainly stayed out on the beach. It feels like you have the whole beach to yourself, since the resort only has 51 rooms. We also like the fact that while we were out on the beach we could not see other resorts. There is just endless miles of palm trees and water! The beaches were very clean and the sand was like powder.

I honestly can not find anything bad to say about this place. It was perfect in all aspects! My only bit of advice for management would be to upgrade the house wines. The house wines were pretty bad. The malbec was very good, but that was about it.

A Guest’s View of Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita

Each and every day at Zoëtry Wellness & Resorts, we get so excited to welcome new guests! As they arrive, we introduce them to our property and make sure they feel right at home. We also always love to hear what guests thought of their time with us. Recently, Stacey of Adventures in Rhode Island Dining, took a trip to Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita and had this to say about the grounds, rooms and our very own parrot, Makita!

Upon arrival at Zoëtry, we were escorted by a manager at the resort on a tour of the grounds.  It is truly a beautiful place.  Like I said in my overview, this resort has a very Mexican feel to it . . . which is perfect because it’s in Mexico.  It’s not over the top fancy.  You don’t feel like you’re in Las Vegas.  You feel like you’re staying at a very nice Mexican beach hotel . . . exactly where you are.  With only 90 rooms, it feels very intimate.  The way the rooms are clustered in little sections, you don’t have the feeling of being in a generic hotel.  There are no long hallways with doors lined up one after another.

The grounds are meticulously maintained by a team of landscapers and wildlife caretakers.  There weren’t a lot of flowers out and blooming while we were there, but all of the plants were lush and vibrant.  The walkways through the resort are beautiful, worth a stroll through.  There are many animals to see as you explore the property.  There were iguanas everywhere.  They didn’t bother people, but we’ll just say the male iguanas were overly fond of the females!  There was a flock of turkeys, and a group of gorgeous peacocks.  There were parrots and macaws.  I am not a bird fan, and have to admit I enjoyed watching Makita, the macaw, perform her tricks and preen for her audience.

A Guest’s Trip to Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita

We love when guests tell us about their vacation to our resorts, but it’s even better when they blog about it! We recently came across this blog on Daniel Glass Photography from a couple who stayed with us at Zoëtry Parasio de la Bonita Riviera Maya and as it turns out the blogger is also a photographer and took some awesome pictures during his stay.

Before we show you the photos, here’s a little about what they had to say about their time at Zoëtry:

My wife surprised me with a special Christmas/Birthday/Anniversary gift this year with a trip for two to the Zoetry Parasio de la Bonita Riviera Maya Spa and Wellness Resort in Puerto Morelos, Mexico at the end of January.  She chose this wonderful place after searching through many resorts in and near Cancun.  What attracted her to this one was its modest size, healthy food, spa, pools and believe it or not, lack of night life so we would be more likely to rest and enjoy each others company with long dinners, drinks, and walks on the beach.  She hit the ball out of the park!  It was just what both of us needed and well worth the effort.

Prior to the trip we had spent some time sifting through the reviews on trip advisor.  The majority of the reviews are favorable and rightly so.  The place was beautifully cared for.  The amenities were many.  Our favorite was the hot salt water pool, sauna, and 4 poster beds on the beach.  But what really makes the facility are the many wonderful staff members that work to make you comfortable.  Whether your dining in one of the fine restaurants, having breakfast in your room, or sushi on the beach, the staff makes you feel like royalty.  We never felt unsafe at any time including our trip to the Tulum Mayan Ruins.

We had a terrific time with our bartender friends Jimmy in the Library bar and Carlos at the Hippo Bar.  The Hippo Bar was outside and you could sit out all night and feel the breeze coming off the Gulf.  The food was fabulous and healthy, our favorite being the cocoanut french toast for breakfast.  We met many folks from around the US and Canada.  Plenty of rest was had.  We also shopped in Puerto Morelos and Sunset Sailed on the Resort Deluxe Catamaran. Zoetry gets our highest recommendation.

Never Wanting to Leave Zoëtry Casa del Mar

Have you ever been on vacation, where you felt like you truly “never wanted to leave”? Well that is exactly what happened to recent guests Stephanie and Terry Diehl. Following their stay, Stephanie posted a blog that provided a great overview of their stay at Zoëtry Casa del Mar Los Cabos, as well as the service and amenities guests can expect to receive as part of the Endless Privileges® offered at our resort.

Here’s a little sample of what Stephanie had to say about our resort:

The lobby of this boutique hotel is reminiscent of a hacienda courtyard with a calming candlelit fountain. It is home to 32 “uber-sweet” suites with Endless Privileges® and amenities. Some of my personal favorite Endless Privileges® are:

  • High thread count linens- This is one resort where I like to stay in bed, they’re so comfy!
  • Bvlgari® bath amenities- I miss the delicate scent of white tea and musk.
  • A welcome bottle of Tequila- YES, I love Tequila!
  • Bottle of champagne with fresh fruit in room each day- what a GREAT way to start the day, mimosas in the morning.
  • Daily stocked mini bar with premium beverages, Deli snacks – Ours had cans of cashews, pistachios, peanuts and almonds. Shamefully I admit, I nicked a couple for the flight home.
  • Special decorations celebrating honeymoons and anniversaries
  • Jacuzzi and rain shower- yes, every suite at Zoetry has a Jacuzzi tub.
  • 24-hour in room private dining- the room service staff got to know us quite well.
  • Complimentary wireless Internet access- FABULOUS for those of us who MUST stay plugged in when we travel!
  • Direct dial cordless telephone with UNLIMITED worldwide calling –especially nice if you have to check business calls or have family at home.
  • Teak furnished private terrace- you’ll find no crappy plastic furnishings here, a pet peeve of mine at upscale resorts.
