Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita Celebrates Earth Hour

At Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita, environmental responsibility is always at the forefront of our minds. We are lucky to be surrounded by incredible natural beauty and believe in protecting it by recycling, saving energy, minimizing air pollution and protecting marine life. As an environmentally conscious resort, we were proud to participate in Earth Hour, an annual worldwide event that encourages individuals, communities, households and businesses to turn off all non-essential lights for one hour on the last Saturday of March to demonstrate commitment to the planet. Our guests were just as happy as we were to be a part of this global movement for sustainability, which now engages more than 7,000 cities and towns every year from 8:30 to 9:30 pm. Check out our photos from Earth Hour below!

Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita is Rainforest Alliance Verified™

Here’s a fun fact. Did you know that the Greek words “Zoë” meaning “life” and “poetry” meaning “artful creation,” were the inspiration behind the name of our resort?

At Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita, we elevate the meaning of our name – The Art of Life© to a whole new level. Our exceptional property offers a completely new kind of vacation experience focused on wellness, serenity and romance, as well as social and environmental responsibility.

As part of our environmental program, we are happy to announce that Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita was recently verified by the Rainforest Alliance for meeting sustainable tourism requirements. This is an exciting achievement for our resort and demonstrates the efforts we are taking to protect the planet and our local community.

We look forward to our relationship with the Rainforest Alliance and will continue improving upon the environmental sustainability practices at our resort.
