A wonderful family recently visited Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana for a relaxing trip. But unfortunately, during their stay, a pipe unexpectedly broke in their room and they had to be moved. While the property team diligently worked to solve the incident, Mr. C. mentioned to the maintenance and concierge staff that they had heard about Sancocho (a traditional Dominican food), but they did not know exactly what it was.

The next day, the Zoëtry Agua team organized a surprise lunch on the beach for the family featuring a tasty Sancocho! The property’s beach palapa was decorated with various Dominican specialties, such as the Dominican flag, Tambora and Güira, and various other details making the area feel like an authentic corner of the country. The resort’s chef also prepared a card with the Sancocho recipe on it so that the family could prepare the dish when they returned home.

The family was very excited and infinitely grateful for the attentive service and personalized surprise. Thanks to the Zoëtry Agua staff, the guests had a memorable vacation they will never forget!
