Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita Riviera Maya proudly presents the Naturalismo Gallery inspired by Luis Sottil. The gallery is part of Zoëtry Paraiso’s “Naturalismo and Hospitality Art Program,” which allows guests the opportunity to experience the exhibit and explore the emotions of the gallery through sight, taste and smell.

A selection of Luis Sottil’s Naturalismo collection will be on display in a permanent exhibit at the resort. Sottil’s Naturalismo paintings are renowned for using nature to paint nature. The gallery features original masterpieces created using minerals, vegetable dyes and natural substances. Iridescent white colors are achieved by using mother of pearl from the African sea, while brilliant cobalt blue is created with cochinilla powder from Oaxaca Mexico.

Guests will have the opportunity to take an art tour around the resort to view Sottil’s collection, accompanied by canapés and cocktails paired to the experience. While admiring Sottil’s hibiscus gardens canvas, guests will savor a sophisticated vodka, pear, green apple and hibiscus cocktail. The cocktail perfectly compliments the hibiscus garden canvas and its red pigments, which were created from the hibiscus flower.

Guests also have the option to indulge in “Delectable Beauty”, a five course pairing dinner in Zoëtry Paraiso’s exclusive wine cellar, following the art tour. At an additional cost per person, this dinner features gourmet dishes inspired by the art pieces in the resort’s permanent exhibition and is prepared using the same natural ingredients used by Sottil in his artwork.

The combination of these experiences is both pleasing to the eye and a delight to the palate. It is an innovative opportunity to explore the emotions of art through sight, taste and smell.
