Our Favorite Fall Foods

Fall is right around the corner and even though it’s summer all year round at Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts, we still love fall foods and flavors. In fact, we try to incorporate many of them into the dishes at our resorts.

Here are just a few of our favorites:

Apples: Apples are the perfect food for fall. Whether sweet or tart, apples are delicious raw or cooked and can be used in anything from salads to desserts. And as a plus, apples are full of antioxidants and contain 4 grams of dietary fiber per serving.

Pumpkin: It’s not fall without pumpkin. Pumpkin can be used to make ravolis as a main course, pie as a dessert or even bread as an appetizer. Whatever you choose, this ingredient is one that will leave you wanting more!

Squash: In the cooler months, squash has a fine texture and slightly sweet flavor and is a favorite of many. It tastes delicious with other fall flavors such as cinnamon and ginger. Also, this veggie contains omega-3 fatty acids and is an excellent source of Vitamin A!

Sweet Potatoes: Let’s face it. A dinner table during the fall months likely contains sweet potatoes! This vegetable is yummy fried, baked or roasted. It’s also a good source of iron and has anti-inflammatory benefits.
