3.  Secure resort transportation BEFORE you leave home.
I cannot stress this enough. There are several transportation companies that you can book through. I use Best Day. Once you exit the airport, you’ll find the transportation area full of reps holding signs. Find your rep (the sign will either say your last name or ‘Best Day’) & you’re all set.

Besides not having to worry about transportation, you’ll also benefit by not having to talk to those pesky time-share sellers as you exit the airport (as mentioned in #2 above).

Don’t wanna worry about making transportation reservations? Jet-List-worthy Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita resort in Riviera Maya uses private transportation.
