Please join me in extending a warm welcome to the newest member of the Will’s system, Fernanda Rodrigurez.

Fernanda’s interest in wellness began as a teenager when she started researching nutrition to improve her family’s health. The fulfillment she experienced in helping others discover their own potential for health and well-being motivated her to study Dietetics at the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City, a university accredited by American Dietetics Association.

Her initial interest led her to investigate the physiology and the nutrition of the Tarahumara Indians, who are known for their long distance running ability. This study was presented on the 18th International Congress of Nutrition. Upon completing this study, she became the dietician of Gold’s Gym, one of the most exclusive and international gyms in Mexico City. Her experience ranged from working with high performance athletes to sedentary people.
After being certified by the International Society for the Advancement of Kinanthropormetry (ISAK), she worked for several years in private practice leading nutrition sessions and writing for a local publication.

In 2008, she graduated from Oxford Brookes University with an MSc of Applied Sports and Exercise Nutrition. Ever since, she has been offering consultations for lifestyle change in Mexico City to individual patients and different companies.

After evaluating the nutritional value of the food at Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana, I was impressed with Fernanda’s skills, energy, empathy, knowledge and experience. Again, please welcome her to our family.
