Does the cooler weather have you thinking about planning at trip to Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts? If so, this review of Zoëtry Agua Punta Cana posted by Trip Advisor user, mpvol, will make you want to book your stay today!

Exceeded expectations!

Just got back, and we did not want to leave the resort! I think the reviews speak for themselves about this place, but I can not stress enough how wonderful the staff is at this resort. During our stay we noticed a lot of couples on their honeymoon. This place is perfect for couples who want to relax and rest. If you are looking for a “party scene” then head straight to Hard Rock. 

The food was excellent, and we loved all three restaurants. The pool was massive and clean, but we mainly stayed out on the beach. It feels like you have the whole beach to yourself, since the resort only has 51 rooms. We also like the fact that while we were out on the beach we could not see other resorts. There is just endless miles of palm trees and water! The beaches were very clean and the sand was like powder. 

I honestly can not find anything bad to say about this place. It was perfect in all aspects! My only bit of advice for management would be to upgrade the house wines. The house wines were pretty bad. The malbec was very good, but that was about it.

Going Green and protecting the environment is very important to Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita Riviera Maya. Through our numerous environmental and social initiatives, we work hard to protect and preserve the environment around us.  In coordination with the Turtle Protection Program, we are proud to support and ensure the safety of all turtles that inhabit the land in and around our resort, and we do all that we can to be sure that the turtles are protected and free from harm.  In addition to protecting the turtles, and their eggs, we’ve had the pleasure of starting our very own turtle release program at Zoëtry Paraiso de la Bonita.  Each year turtles lay eggs between the summer months of May and August.  Once the eggs hatch, about two months after being laid, we ensure the turtles’ safe entry into the ocean.  With the help of our staff, and many guests who participate, we have successfully guided hundreds of turtles safely into their natural habitat.  Check out the pictures below from one of our releases!

Helping the People of Haiti

Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts are deeply saddened by the tragic loss of life and extensive earthquake damage to the people of Haiti, neighbors of the Dominican Republic.

Making a monetary donation is easier than it’s ever been.

Simply Text “HAITI” to 90999 to donate $10, to the American Red Cross Relief Effort and when prompted, hit “YES” to confirm the donation.

While most organizations, including the Red Cross, are citing monetary donations as the primary need for the victims, guests heading to the Dominican Republic in the near future can contribute in a more unique way by bringing medical supplies from the list below. Guests can donate any of these items at our resorts which will then be delivered to local relief centers, taken to Haiti and given directly to those in need.

MEDICINES:

  • Oral rehydration
  • Gauze
  • Cotton
  • Analgesics (acetaminophen, ibuprofen)
  • Slings
  • Elastic Bandage
  • Tetanus toxoid
  • Ganmaglobulina human tetanus
  • Antibiotics (amoxicifilina, in suspension and / or tablets)
  • Antiseptics (Betadine type or chlorhexidine soap type)
  • Sanitary napkins

We are extremely grateful that the Dominican Republic did not experience any damage from the earthquake. All resorts within the Zoëtry Wellness & Spa Resorts brand are operating at 100%. All of the Dominican Republic’s international airports are open and receiving flights on their normal schedules. We hope that future guests will join us in our efforts to donate and contribute to Haiti during this time of rebuilding and development.
